RESEARCH: Horror Trailer Reactions

 
The trailers that I used for the horror trailer reactions are 'Gerald's Game', 'Before I Wake' and 'Split'. All of these films are psychological which have been purposefully chosen as the target audience that I have surveyed all prefer psychological horror films. All three of these films are different psychological horrors, therefore showing them three different types of psychological films allows me to understand what aspects I might include in my trailer/plot-line. My target audience group mainly preferred 'Gerald's Game' and 'Before I wake', 'Before I Wake' includes a ghostly/unknown creature which is linked to the supernatural genre of horror whereas 'Gerald's Game' doesn't include a supernatural aspect in their trailer.
