During the period of the editing/constructing aspect of our final piece which consists of: a magazine front cover, film poster and trailer, I contributed towards all three. In order to meet the deadline given I had to stay after school majority of the days along with my group members.
Magazine front cover
When creating the magazine front cover me and a group member had the responsibility of taking the picture. I contributed towards editing the the magazine front cover, I tried out various different ways of editing the 'EMPIRE' logo such as distorting the font to match the protagonist's personality, which would create an additional link. However, after receiving feedback we believed that it was best to keep it simple otherwise it would distract the reader from the actual content involved with the magazine. Another editing process that was involved was the darkening of half of our actor's face, which was straightforward but still took quite a lot of time.
Film poster
My contribution towards the film poster consisted of taking the picture along with another group member reviewing the pictures being taken, and editing it on photoshop to get a distorted effect which show-cased his personality. We wanted the poster to convey images of danger which is why I used red-tissue paper in front of the camera lens. The text was already created by the other group members which meant that only the picture had to be edited.
Trailer
Me and a group member was heavily involved with filming the footage and editing it on premier pro. I was very involved with the editing and helped with the filming such as giving feedback if the footage taken needed to be re-filmed. Regarding the editing I picked some soundtracks which had to be tested with the footage, other soundtracks were picked out by me and another group member so that we had a variety of opinions when deciding if we should use it. I was involved with editing near the end of the trailer such as the credits and name of movie, along with the tag-line. Majority of the editing of the trailer was produced by me and another group member.

Evidence of use of Sound Transitions
This is a screenshot of us editing the trailer on Adobe Premiere Pro, this screenshot shows the different cross-fades we have put on the audio so that there is a smooth transition between the different audios. The cross-fades help to achieve a professional level regarding our trailer.

Controlled Use of Filming
These shots display our character, Elijah's, psychological illnesses. The shots in particular show his OCD, the sink and the products on it show his hygiene routine and shows him washing his hands which further exemplifies his psychological illness. The second shot is of him spacing his food apart as he wants everything to be perfect. We chose a birds eye view shot to show his plate and his hands to focus on his actions.
